Complete change!

Post by andyd »

After jumping the Capri ship sometime ago and owning the Mustang V8 for a while, the Sierra 1600 just wasn't doing it for me so I recently got this.

Ticks all the boxes, new and used parts are readily available from several suppliers in the UK and it's tax exempt (I mean who really wants to pay that on top of everything else :spank: )

Any negative comments please keep them to yourselves

Andy, what have you done?

Just joking......she looks gorgeous! 8-)

Does it still have the original V8 Andy? I understand that some owners had swapped them for the Rover V8 for reliability reasons.

Andrew.

Hi Andrew,
It's as I like them, nice clean condition but not so immaculate that you are afraid to drive it.

Yes many had Rover V8 conversions, this has the original engine with uprated alloy rad and kenlow fan so should cure the issues they had back in the day

Nice!
I think Admin may delete though - it's not even a Blue Oval.....
Always quite liked these though, relatively cheap V8 motoring!

Great sound and a nice drive, unlike the Sierra which left me completely uninspired :(

Unlike many modern fast cars you don't need to thrash it to enjoy it, but you have to enjoy what you drive otherwise what's the point!

Will do Andy, I know that Steve will appreciate that for sure. Yes, all good here thanks, hope you are too. Again, very nice choice of classic car you have there, and they really look fun to drive. And I dream of being tax exempt!
