I don't know.
The DVLA have the engine capacity recorded as 1600cc, but not all owners notify the DVLA of engine swaps.
I'm sure there was a feature on this car in the CCI mag a while back. I'll see if I can dig it out.

They are worried some cars may feel left out so have ensured all cars win something in the name of inclusivity.

Other catagories include:

Most Round Tyres
Least Dirt
Most Dirt
Mediumest Dirt
Nicest Mileage
Fourest Cylinders
Sixest Cylinders
Sparkiest Sparkplugs
Broomiest Engine
Turniest Wheels

In my experience, Capri's of this 'attitude' get the most attention at the shows/rallies by far, I think that people find banality at seeing one perfect (and often seldom driven and/or trailered) car after another. Whereas that one is fun and exciting.

Looks great, I think I'll try and get that, Have you read Stephen King's Christine, he has such a unique way of describing things which makes his books very long but without being dull. I'd recommend it, good book, much better than the film.

Tom, have you seen Terror On The Beach. It's another TV movie from the same time period again starring Dennis Weaver. And he plays a very similar role as in Duel. You would enjoy it.

I think that's because they tell a story with their scabs and mismatching bits. And it's a good story - it's still running and giving joy, rain or shine, rust or prang, too loved to scrap or sell.

Completely agree yes, also it's something a bit different, interesting, vibrant, eye catching and just good fun. All very positive things.

I have indeed, great book. He’s pretty much the best living story teller, in my book.

I’m a writer, and opened for Stephen King at a writing festival last year. Absolute dream!

I understand that it's a rhetorical question, but I'll bite anyway.

There were 100 or so cars there, 34 won trophies.

I agree, a lot of people like to see cars with character.
I prefer to see immaculate cars, each to their own.

Humans are at their best in a group of people with different skills and opinions. If we all thought the same, we'd probably have died out long ago.
