It was good to see a police Capri which I've seen before at a festival in North Wales recently. How brilliant it must have been to see these charging up and down the roads back in the day. Unless they were following you of course.

Just thought I'd add a couple of Capri pics from the same festival, unusual number plates.

So true Jason, and even now I wouldn't like to come up against that chasing me, it looks the business. Much better than the yellow/blue livery they have now which wouldn't scare a baby.

Re: Police Capri Revisited
Great selection of Capris!
The unusual number plates are from the Republic of Ireland.
The red and black cars have the standard issue registrations. The blue car has an optional ZV plate designating a vintage vehicle.
For more nerdy stuff, read on.....
The 2.8 injection was registered in 1986 in Laois, the mark 1 was registered in 1972 in Kildare, the black S was registered in 1984 in North Tipperary.

Re: Police Capri Revisited
Thanks Andrew. I was aware of the Irish plates but was glad to read the other info you posted. Typically, that show/festival, which I've been to numerous times, does seem to have a number of Irish visitors/exhibitors.

Oh yes, I know the ad you mean. That's interesting, and good to know that he's a genuine enthusiast.
