They were great climbing up on top of the cars to get bits , there was always a great big dog in the scarp yards as well

Someone once told me a trick of taking a bonnet cable and putting it up their sleeve so it ran across their shoulders from wrist to wrist underneath their jumper so it couldn't be seen on the way out
