Sad to hear that Marvin has passed awayπŸ™
45 years of Bat out of Hell. What a tune to drive to. He'll be missed.

Was never really a fan but sad to hear.

As a majority of the bands I liked are now well into their 60s and 70s, sadly I think it's something we will have to get used to seeing :(

A story I heard meatloaf say was he met JFK at Dallas airport the day he was shot and then later on that day he was stopped by FBI agent and told to drive him to the hospital JFK was taken to .

I'd suggest there 'ain't no doubt about it!'
However, I'd dispute Nick being 'barely 17' and as to whether he's 'barely dressed' I don't need to know thank you very much!

Been a fan for many years, have lots of albums, as in proper albums that you actually go and buy.

Saw him in concert in the 80s, he put the mike down in between songs and spoke/shouted to the audience, and you could still hear him. A real powerhouse.

Yeah what a life , ups and downs an all that but one of those guys you never get sick of listening to . Got "on the piss " with meat loaf lots of times ( not actually with him but me in the lounge with beers and him on the turntable ) .
As andyd says ,our musical heros are dropping off , faaaaaark Keith Richards is hanging in there, I thought his organs would have given up ages ago .
I dunno why I feel some real sense of loss (πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯) when people I have never met pass , David Bowie , Gary Moore ,Kurt Cobain, to name a few . These people really made a mark on the world .
Cant help but thinking the world is loosing something special, specially when we get left with shit acts that seem to be filling the gaps these true maestro's leave when they go . Another sad day .
Sometimes I talk to myself ... and we both have a good laugh

Pretty much sums it up.

Have some beers and listen to his Bad Attitude album (1984), it's as good as anything he's done, great album, just hear the title track -
