Re: Friday evening!!!
It's dubbed into Czech.
The Professionals is one of few "west world" shows, which could be broadcast here during communist era. But only 21 episodes from all 57, which were "politically correct " (no KGB, etc.). All episodes finally aired here after 1989.
So it was dubbed since 1980s, but in 1990s there is new dubbing for all episodes.

And of course I like The Professionals, because this show bringed me to the Capri.
But in fact it started thanks to Granada. When I was young we had same Granada as Cowley in last few episodes of season 1: beige Granada 2.0L (V6) Mk2/1. It was great car, in adition when everybody here had Skoda 120 or Favorit or some Lada.
So genesis was: Granada => The Professionals => Capri.

Sadly all these years later many of the classic UK comedy and drama programmes are now edited to suit the PC brigadepbar wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 5:37 pmT.M. wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 3:55 pmIt's dubbed into Czech.
