If you think you`ve got problems...

Post by stevemarl »

Spare a thought for the multi-talented Victoria Beckham:

Victoria Beckham reportedly turned to the professionals for help and checked into a wellness clinic after feeling insecure over her diminishing appeal.
The former Spice Girls singer used to always come up on headlines, either because of her marriage to football star David Beckham or her fashion line. But interest in her has reportedly dwindled over time since the pandemic last year. Her "likes" on her Instagram "plummeted" and she has not been on any fashion magazine cover in nearly two years.
The 47-year old was forced to release a digital presentation of her new collection instead of joining the London Fashion Week. According to Closer magazine, she can no longer afford a catwalk show because she has racked up £46 million in losses since 2008. All of these have reportedly made Victoria feel humiliated and insecure which prompted her to seek help at a £4,000-a-week wellness retreat.

Seriously though, it also shows how social media has opened up a whole range of new rapid-access routes to mental illness.

Spoilt bitch who couldn't sing!

Err I've lost millions, so I'm going to spend four grand a week to help me forget about it.

Still, hubby ought to be able to help out now he's running the village shop in Emmerdale.
(Probably only me who sees that, sorry. :? )

Hehe, the first one to do something is the one who receives the spotlight Steve. The second man on the moon? The second one to run a four minute mile? The second person to admit to Emmerdale? See?!

Oh no mate, I'm a proper man's man me.
Bloody old soap rubbish.

Only reason I know about it is because Vall watches it while I'm doing the washing up and ironing................................... :xd:

And before you all mock, any ex-military man will tell you women can't iron properly!

I can't help but wonder how a "wellness retreat" can cost £4000 a week.
It sounds like a good business to be in though.

Andrew.

I know that since she started running her business it has never once turned a profit of any kind so not surprised that she's feeling a bit insecure when hubby is off starting football clubs in a foreign country without an issue...
Her parents are my Dad's God-parents and they're lovely! Can't say I've ever met the Beckhams though

Wales is meant to be peaceful isn't it Andrew?
Open a wellness retreat from your shed at the end of the garden and start charging £4k a week - you'll make a mint!
