Just got done speeding...

Post by Major_Tom »

..mobile camera van on a disused overpass over the dual carriageway. Slammed on the brakes, but thought it was too late.

So I drove up there and knocked on the door, "did you get me?"

"Fraid so mate! Nice car though."

We had a good laugh about it, bound to happen sooner or later I told him  hopefully I'll get away with a speed awareness course. Strange though as I was fully aware I was speeding :headscratch:

Hopefully I'll get a decent photo of it to share with you fine gentlemen.

I've seen them locally parked in a 30mph limit.

That's part of the reason the Mustang went, over 400hp and looking out for speed cameras takes the enjoyment out of it.

Acceleration though! The legal way to speed.

The government will be clamping down on that next. And having fun is after that on the list!

I very much doubt you`ll be using it as your screensaver...

(BTW, if you DO get a `speed awareness` course - for Gods sake don`t be tempted to use any form of wit, humour, intellect, it won``t be appreciated. Yes miss, no miss, don`t disagree.)

Crikey, was that photo taken by somebody stood at the side of the road with a box brownie or something?
I was expecting these cameras to produce a crystal clear image.
You can't even make out the registration on the VW!

I'm impressed the bloke opened the door.
If Tom had hammered on my van door after I'd photographed him speeding I would have taken one look and battened down the hatches. :xd: :xd: :xd:

He did actually open a little hatch and keep the door firmly closed

Not really that funny I guess . Down here and in Oz ,there is serious talk of revoking peeps firearm licenses for nothing more than a speeding ticket . Real hypocritical as we have cops leaving glocks in public toilets , leaving keys to the vehicle lockbox in the car and some guy got 2 glocks there , and leaving the back door of the cop shop open and some crim got over a dozen rifles there . ,.....but get a speeding ticket .

If only our 'Police' took muggings, burglaries, stabbings as seriously as speeding then I feel sure that this shit hole of a country would be a much nicer place to live in.

I think I'll definitely have a 'Falling Down moment' if this crap continues :cigar:

:agree: As do 99.9% of others on these matters, but that's not stopping the country rapidly turning into a cess pit

I've stopped watching all news channels as it's far too depressing.

I've been watching the news on my phone lately.

That's why I didn't see the speed camera. :xd:
