Hi Andy,
Sad to see such a fantastic Capri go, but I look forward to seeing the Mustang......and probably hearing it from a mile off too! :D
Have you given any thought to which colour you're going for?

Andrew.

Hi Andrew,
Capri isn't gone too far and may well appear at Haynes as the new owner does attend :)

The V8 does sound great and a couple of exhaust options really make them growl! Grabber Blue or Triple Yellow would be nice, but anything that comes along within budget really :)

Hi Mags,
This year has kicked me up the backside to do something I've been thinking about for a while but then dismiss again :?

Not getting any younger so need to tick that box :D
Doesn't matter how old - or young - you are Andy. There's not one of us, whatever our age, who knows how many more boxes life will give us the chance to tick.

You sound like me Andy :) Yes wise words, we are not in a rehearsal or a dummy run, this is it, one chance only. It's paramount that you do whatever it takes to give you that fun or enjoyment, as that is the actual meaning of life.

As Paul said, and as I've said before, make sure you stay around here, and from what you have said I know that you will do :)

Nice work.
I really really wanted to get one of these as our "normal" car to replace our Mini (which was cool but just too small for general family use).
Problem was my wife thinks Mustang just a smidge too long for suburban faffing and parking, and she has a point.
So we bought a BMW M140i instead which is a nice little hatchback coupe type thing, but is rear wheel drive and has a nice straight 6!

They aren't a small car, it just fits in my garage with no more than an inch to spare to close the door

That's gorgeous!
Have you taken it for a good drive yet?
I hope to see it once the car shows are back to normal.

Not had a proper drive yet, weather bad today but should be out over next few days or so. Sounds amazing with the Roush exhaust!

Hi Paul,
Yes it's lovely to drive. Went out for half an hour yesterday morning just local taking it steady, not put it in sport mode yet :)

I think there are 3 others around the town, but as with the Capri if people like cars they will look or point otherwise you might as well be driving a transit van for all the interest it gets.

Best comment so far was from an old boy who must be 70 at least and lives in the next road to us. He drove around got out and said "I saw it being delivered earlier, I love it it's like a big pair of balls"
