Electrical faults 3000s mk2
Quick one before i search for my haynes manual , Just fired the car up and rear brake lights stay on even with key removed and indicators dont flash is this a grounding issue many thanks
Re: Electrical faults 3000s mk2
Check the rear light clusters aren't cracked by the screws being done up too tight.
Tbh though, that's more common on the Mk3s.
The brake lights could be the switch on the pedal sticking, but don't see how that would affect the indicators?

gave the indicator stalk connections a good spray with WD40 and moved the connectors and suddenly full beam was back on , the brake lights were a sticking pedal release connection , and i bought a flashing unit multi plug .......but discovered it wont work on the mark 2 . so ive ordered the correct Lucas SFB 105 unit ....lets hope this does the trick
