That fire extinguisher is a real shin breaker, you'd be surprised how much your legs flap about upon a decent impact. My car had an airbag under the dash and I still got good bruises and skin off my shin.

Yes my mate was in a Peugeot 106 and had the classic accident of someone waiting to turn right on opposite carriageway, wheels on full lock, they got hit from behind, shunted into his lane, BAM. Lucky to escape without serious injury (guy is built like a mighty ox), but face and shins were where he got the impact. I'll try and find a picture.
I'm the one who leaves all those shoes in the carriageway.

That is very impressive - there's not much left!
A wise man once said... "you can never have too many capris - buy another"

Yes the fire brigade turned up and asked where 5he casualty from the Peugeot was... my mate walks over and says "here I am". They couldn't believe he was okay.

Re: Fire Extinguisher Location
I think that this is the factory approved location, I have somewhere an official German market Capri photo, and that's where its fitted. Another good place is fixed to the front of the seat like in Mercedes/BMW

Good to see this thread returning. I still haven't found a spot I'm completely happy with.

Re: Fire Extinguisher Location
Hi Paul,
Quite a few clasdic owners are now opting for these firesticks mate rather than the traditional Extinguisher. They are very easy to store and have two models to choose from depending on duration of operation. They are not cheap but they are a great alternative

Thank you Nick, I'll keep that in mind to look at further, never thought of those before.
