Tickover - Pick Up Day

Post by Fordoholic Nick »

Hi all,

So I got the call from Gus and popped down to Dartford after work yesterday to pick up B112 after having a few jobs done. Finished at 2pm, jumped on the underground to London Bridge, train to Dartford, 20min walk and was there by 4pm :)

New 3" CCI exhaust ( sportex), new Coolex Alloy Radiator in Black and of course while they were checking the torques on head bolts and checking tappets I got them to finally fit the custom rocker cover. All looks really good. Here's a, few pictures :)

Looks awesome!

Thinking about upgrading my exhaust system to the CCI one, but just debating on the 2" or 3"....

Looks really smart.
My OCD insists I ask why you have left the lifting eye on the front exhaust side when the one from the rear inlet side is gone?
I reckon it would look better without...................but that's just me.

Thanks Chris. I had a 2" CCI system for a few years and it's been great. Lovely tone to it. I just fancied a change with all the other mods I been doing and as a stainless system will have to wait I promised myself I would try 3" and it looks great. Not to over the top at all and pokes out the back a treat without being chavvy
