Yes I saw that Andrew.

It was on a Capri Facebook page a day or so before that too.
Deposit taken on this car.

Nice car but I wonder if it's TV appearance had anything to do with a fairly quick sale :?
It might be more to do with a book that come out last year about the Pinto being the Best Engine In The World

It does make you wonder who buys these cars... It looks like a very nice example, but how could you not know the lights are on upside down? Let alone the fact that it's obviously not a late Mk2 when it looks completely different to the year before

Bloody hell, I can understand if someone can't read, but how can you not know how to look at a picture?

The early mark 3 Capris were still being registered as "Capri II", and that's probably where the seller has become confused.

Andrew.

Yes I just spotted that , only done 1000 miles , I bought my first house in 1989 for 44k and would have never thought a Capri would sell for that .
Now I wonder if in say 3 years that car will sell for over the 100k Mark . As the way classic cars are selling I can see this .

Actually 942 miles JM  It sold at auction a few years ago for 54k on 936 miles, doubt it will ever reach 1000 :?

If it does sell it is basically an ornament, any miles it will depreciate so may as well buy a 1:18 scale to look at alot cheaper :) Mad money but it might pave the way for other low mile Capris.
