So this afternoon I got stuck in traffic about a mile from home and look to my right and there’s a spitfire sitting in this guys garden and full size . O.M.G so being a good chap I never used my phone but just looked on Google maps .

One for Peter . You can stay there as well it’s a B&B ... :lol:

I knew of a place near where I grew up in the 70s/80s that had a Gloucester Meteor in the garden :shock:

Jeremy Clarkson had a Lightning jet in his :)

Interesting Jason - and a scale model Concorde as well by the looks of it.
Hard to find out anything much about the place. The Spit must be a replica but I wonder what the story was with these:

Some nice cars there , I wonder if Andy aka pink shirt Arnold with that stunning 2.0s as he lives closer , I did laugh as it was almost like a double take to see a spitfire just sitting there . Between me and you I think I had one of them moments where your laughing and talking to yourself with nobody around :lol: :lol: .

Jason, the spitfire is fibreglass and the cars are classic Bentleys, I believe the owners is an ex commercial pitot, my neighbour knows him,

Has it been there long as my eldest said it’s been there ages I must be blind :lol: but I thought we paid a toll charge for going up near the posh places :lol: . Just not something you would normal see in somebody garden best we have in the village is a star on the church and a dogging club at weekends :lol: :lol: hope you well andy :beer: .

Jason I think it’s been there about 5 years, but the barrier to let’s southfleeters pass thought in cars has only just been lifted maybe that why you have never seen it

Spitfires are pretty much the coolest thing on the planet , we are allowed to loose our shit a wee bit in the presence of such greatness......
