Mini Car Show 2

Post by Peter-S »

So I popped out for a newspaper this morning and had to wait for a couple of cars at a junction. The second in line was a Capri😊 As I was in the 2.8 it seemed rude not to say hello so I followed it in to the supermarket and had a quick chat with Brad. Nice to meet you mate.

Both mini car shows are excellent Peter. Lucky for you crowds are down at the moment so you managed to get great shots without people in the way

Hi Brad, good to see you joined :)
Yes, that was a pleasant surprise, guess we timed it just right. Nice to catch up with another Capri owner especially in the current climate. Keep up the good work mate :D

Lovely car! Colour looks really nice, and the headlights look really good too.
Do I also spy a slightly modified bonnet bulge or do my eyes deceive me...??

Really glad you like it! As I said to Peter it needs a lot of work doing still but is getting there slowly! I’ve modified quite a lot myself but the bonnet was done by the previous owner! People are very 50/50 on whether they like it or not but it’s unique to the car and I’ve not seen another like it! So for now it stays! :D
I’ll try to upload some more photos for everyone to have a look at!

Hi Brad,

Welcome to the forum fella. Great little meet you had with Peter and love the pictures, especially the Pinto.! You got a lovely Capri there fella.

Yep whilst it's great seeing original examples is just as great seeing how people have made their own stamp on theirs. You done a brilliant job with Yours. Nice one.

All the best

Nick

Yeah that bonnet looks sweet as!
Engine bay looks nice and tidy as well, liking the red rocker and the other splashes of colour - for some reason Peter, Nick and I have all gone for a blue theme in ours

Looks great 8-)
