MOT Extension for 6 months

Post by Fordoholic Nick »

Hi all.

First and most important I hope everyone is safe and well :)

Guys any MOT due after March 30th will automatically be extended for 6 months due to the situation at the moment. B112 was due on April 24th so I don't need to panic but will of course get it done at the earliest opportunity. Here's a link.

Thank you Nick, yes there are a couple of threads already about this. But always worthwhile mentioning something so important.

After posting the other thread about the exemption I checked my own cars and my little Polo runabout ran out on 21st March so no extension. Bummer.

Got it booked in for 12.00 today.

My son got his done yesterday as it expired tomorrow, bit unlucky really just when it helps to save £50 or so!

That's great news Paul, but hardly surprising that a car owned by you would pass!

Andrew.

Is this just an option or has the system actually been suspended, as the last I saw my station was still open? (JUst thinking this would be a good time to sort out any small advisories etc, not Capri obviously :) , while there`s absolutely nothing else to do, you can`t drive it - and I`m getting cabin fever..)
