Hey I'm looking to upgrade my 1.6 standard exhaust to maybe sportex or similar I'm wondering if anyone has secondhand exhaust systems that they are willing to sell .

I think I still have a Sportex manifold going spare if you wanted it - not sure what the condition is but it was on my car for 2-3years and has sat in my loft for the same amount of time

Cheers

You could be narrowing your options by asking for a 1.6 exhaust. A 2.0 exhaust will fit. The only reason a different exhaust was available for the 1.6 at the time was it was a slightly cheaper build than the exhaust specified for the 2.0. Even at the time a lot of exhaust centres would just stock a single exhaust for both.

Guaranteed, Sportex wouldn't make a separate exhaust for the 1.6 and it would confuse them if you asked for one as they would be likely to think you were asking about a Kent 1.6

The Sportex one for example fits both - I took my first sportex off my 1.6 and put it on the 2.0 without issue
