John hills son selling cars

Post by Jasonmarie »

Just spotted this it was the blue mk1 Capri that caught my eye as I thought I know that car , when we was at the CCI show last year Andrew made Rob and myself go of looking around the back of the CCI and we spotted a few cars . The blue Capri was up for 4k I think with a left hand hooker Capri what we all said we liked but how much work and money would we have to put in .
So I did speak with his son about the cars and he buys a lot from France .

So looking at this aution site it’s at the Capri club international address ...

Its a good thing he decided to sell before a lot of them became rusty wrecks.
I'm the one who leaves all those shoes in the carriageway.

There's several old Fords but many would probably go for too much money but there is a nice little Mk 1 Fiesta (car for the wife obvioulsy  ), Rover P6 V8, straight 6 Stag but I'm actually partial to the Singer Vogue which must be about the same age as me!

Oh I wish I had some room, I'd have my buying boots on there. (So long as the reserves aren't set stupidly high!)

The 24v Granada looks in better condition than mine!

The RS1600 will go for crazy money, as will the RS1800.

There are some rare cars there, and not just the exotic stuff. Ambassadors, Princesses and Marinas are all thin on the ground.

I love how some of the descriptions state ‘needs attention’!

I didn't really have time to watch the whole video, but once I started watching I just couldn't turn it off.... :D

Is anybody planning on going to the auction?

Yes please, put me down for that MK1. That Bullit would be great for chasing down a rouge Dodge Charger

From what I saw, some memories there!

I have a picture of me in a Silvercross Pram and I learned to drive in a Peugeot 504 (No, not at the same time)

As for Daisy Duke..... :D The Charger was a bonus!!
