Whitehouse Farm

Post by Fordoholic Nick »

Anyone else been watching this drama based on true events in 1985. Mrs Fordoholic is getting annoyed at me as I keep shouting at the TV "look a mk4 cortina.!! " or "wow A MK 3 Escort!! " or "look at that old volvo !!" just as it gets to an important part of the story

Cant say as Ive seen it but in our house its a race to see who can spot ( and correctly identify ) the classic fords (and all the other crap :P ) and , gotta say I have to be on the ball. We play for mouthfulls of Benedictine , 1st to spot gets the swig . There can be some intense discussion regarding identification , with lots of rewind, freeze frame and slow mo and the judges are often consulted and if there is no clear answer we both swig :D

these are the judges .... we had to get new ones .... the old one got run over ( by a very long truck .... with lots of wheels, by the look of him.....we sorta rolled him up and stuck him under the Rhododendrons )
Sometimes I talk to myself ... and we both have a good laugh

The ginger kitten in the foreground is almost identical to a little on we rescued from a dilapidated house.
It was so young it still had one eye closed but there was nothing wrong with its lungs.
That's how we discovered it was trapped.
He turned out to be a great cat, fun to have around.

Our best cat got dragged out from under the Drummond (rural southland town ) store by a guy I went to primary school with 20 years earlier......bastard charged me for the can of food it took to lure him out ....and I didnt even want a cat . Poor bugger went blind in the end so we had to put him down as the farm dogs would have had him ,cant see them comming .
