the 1.6 pinto? I'm sure there's better. Although it's not bad for 72bhp compared to my 2 litre Cortina. The 1.6 does feel it on an incline.

Hi Paul,
Hey thanks for the pictures of your Capri Cabaret fella. Looks fantastic mate and yep you don't see many of these about nowadays. It looks in really nice condition too and lovely colour. Thanks for taking the time to show us...BUT it would be great to see some pictures of under the bonnet Paul as you just got to love the Pinto engine. I certainly do....and Jason has a soft spot for them too...….
Its a cracking engine with so much potential. Very underestimated in my humble opinion. Young "Danny 3 Capris" has a 1.6 that he has tweaked with a 2.0 cam and 32/36 dgav I believe which really has bumped up his bhp oh yep, sorry he also has a 10" rear tailpipe without silencer sticking out the back too... Great engine indeed !!!
Paul you got yourself one cracking and rare Capri there in lovely condition considering it was used as a daily if I recall being correct from your other thread on the underside. Good Luck with whatever you decide to do.
All the best mate and look forward to seeing more pictures when you get the chance.

Nice car, looks like a setting for The Professionals
My mate has a red over silver so think it's a Calypso.

Thanks very much Nick. I'll do some photo of the engine bay later. The 1.6 isn't that slow as I thought. Although mild boost has crossed my mind. The 2 litre cam/dgav combo is an interesting tweakFordoholic Nick wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2020 5:08 am Hi Paul,
