Forum question: incoming pm "on hold"

Post by mgentry90 »

Hi, can anyone advise why I am unable to read incoming private messages due to them being "on hold"? I only have the one but it's the first time it's come up and it's to do with buying parts, if I miss out because someone won't let me read my messages I will be VERY disappointed lol.

Possibly because your inbox is full of old messages?
I think you only get space for 50, so you need to delete old ones if you've read them.
Then it should have space to appear.

As Bug says. Select some old messages and click on the tab bottom right to delete those that are marked. Then go back to the section where you currently have the on hold message and click the release messages part and the new message should appear. This will happen any time you get to 50 stored messages.

The scary thing is I'm only 29 so was quite good with computers 10 years ago. Now we don't have one in our home, we use our phones!! And when I get a simple problem at work on the computer i need to ask for help..

The thing that bugs me the most is my phone has more power than the Apollo mission computers ......but no instruction book, which you need to find out how to find out what you need to know.
