Hi,
I sold my 1972 1600 GT in 2004, according to DVLA website its taxed. It was red with a black vinyl roof, white and red checked interior also had a rather noisy exhaust, not sure if the current owner realises but it goes a somewhat better then a regular 1600 should do ( a little surpise under the bonnet!).
I was wondering if anyone knows of its whereabouts, ive lost the new keeper bit from the vehicle form so cant contact the guy i sold it to. Id love to know how this car is getting on thses days?
Cheers guys
Martin

Was the white and red checked interior standard or out of a later car, if so that may have been replaced now with an original.

You can contact DVLA and request owner details. Think it costs either £2.50 or £5 depending on your reason.
I see that you have tried TalkFord, you may also wish to try the Capri Power forum and the Capri Club.

Thanks for your responses. I think the interior was a later addition. The previous keeper from me restored it, he kept a notebook of all the work hed done. It was also originally ornage.
As for DVLA, thats more for parking fee companies - else anyone could see a nice car and ask for the owners address. Unless annyone here has succesfully managed to do this?

No, it's not, you can have several reasons. These are listed on the form.
Although your exact reason is not shown, it is still worth a try rather than just dismissing it, if you really wish to find the car that is.
