So this week was down as the last week of using the 2.8 before hibernation. I took it to go to a lecture on Tuesday and caught a shower and it caught a couple of spots again yesterday. This morning we needed two cars and it was hammering down for a while. It had more or less left off when I left for work but the traffic was very slow on one stretch because:

The water's not even over the kerb there, nae bother.
Up in Scotland many moons back following my mate in his Pajero through a flood by a river & the water was up to his back bumper. The old silver Laser kept going fine. I had to remove some weed & grass from atop the starter motor later that day though...
