1983 Ford Capri 2.0S “Dee”

Post by Mk1Mark »

About time I finally posted!

But after Brooklands this is the forum to be on!

“Dee” was offered to me back in November 2016 when, the previous owner actually posted his number saying he had a Capri for sale after seeing my then blue laser on the drive.

Obviously I couldn’t turn it down, and the sum of £1500 was paid. It’s taken 3 years to get Dee where she is now, having gone through quite a transformation. Being painted April 2019 and refitted and being MOT’d May 4 days after the Mot we drove her to Speyer for the 50th celebrations.. clearly I’ve been watching too much roadkill 😂😂😂

Welcome Mark. I'm fairly new here myself but it seems a nice place to be.

Nice car. You've obviously put in a lot of work to get her into the condition she's in today. Congratulations on getting to Speyer.

I'm near Exeter, Andrew and Rob are from Wales so they may be able to convoy to Haynes with you.

Hope to do the Easter car show at Weston next year
