Yes I am fine when Tickover have the car as you know it’s in safe hands but outsiders OMG I am like laying at night thinking I wonder if she’s ok should I drive down and check they have not just left the car outside . But she was parked next to a Aston Martin indoors so happy days .... also the tyres seem a lot quieter and feels better on the road but that just might be me . I do like a car with new tyres .

So price chaps hope your sitting down the wheels and 5 Center caps were £477 and the tyres were £236 . So a grand total of £713
I told the wife it was £10 a wheel

She’s now booked in at Tickover for MOT and two small jobs in October then I will tuck her up for a winter sleep . Ready to play in 2020

I did think about getting new wheels and as Andy said looked at 15” but I do like the Capri with that German engine wheels and also she drives so nice . But from having painted that I know had already been done to getting a full powered coated also they had the vehicle was the job for me .
Wait for what I have planned for my next project . And no it’s not the stainless exhaust quite yet  but a little quieter then that black Capri that shot past us at Sainsbury the other week

On note was your dad’s face behind you I could see what he was thinking

Andy I still have not mention about you hanging limp to one side but I am saving it

So had a nice surprise today , I got a phone call from the place that did my wheels saying I had been over charged and I am due a refund .
She said I should have paid the quoted price of £377 so they have refunded me a £100 back .
What was a good result as I added a extra Center cap after the quote .
So well pleased , going to be warm and sunny Saturday so will have a lazy drive

That's a better price and more realistic :)

Nice that they were honest with you too

Result! :D
That makes the total cost around £80 per wheel, and as Andy says, that's about the going rate for a quality job.
