Nice one Jeff. Thanks for the pictures mate. Wow ! That's one cool recovery set up fella. Proper kind of them to stop and help. Brilliant.!! I did not have a clue all this was going on jeff as we did not all get parked up together so just presumed you guys were parked further up. Then I seen you and you told me

Re: Brooklands 8.9.19
Mark kindly tagged me in the pictures of my entry to the event on facebook, so I tried to find as many forum cars (or people I met/cars I remember) and saved the pictures - if anyone wants me to try and find their entry pictures please let me know and I'll sift through and see if I can find them for you

Lovely car pity we didn't get to speak as forum parking was a bit of a shambles

Got it, thanks Andy
Best laid plans & all that with the parking, I had hoped to put faces & cars to forum names but that plan pretty much dissolved too, still didn't detract from a memorable day out

Brilliant photos, thanks Danny!
Is the photographer selling the photos? Is there a link?

Re: Brooklands 8.9.19
He does sell 'hi res' versions according to his facebook page - recently decided to start taking donations for and MS support charity instead - if you'd like I can reach out to him and ask him how much and best way for you to get the hi res picture(s) if you don't want to join the dreaded Facebook?Andrew 2.8i wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2019 8:28 amBrilliant photos, thanks Danny!

Andrew.
Edit: just checked again and he's asking for £5 per picture, hi res, non-watermarked.
If you're on facebook and want yours I can send you a link to the page and you can contact directly, if you aren't on facebook I don't mind contacting him on your behalf to arrange something

Cheers, I found the 2 taken by Chris were better than the photography UK one which had an overlapping car in the background. The pics do show just how low D332 is, me thinks suspension in on the list during the Winter refurb..

The more I switch between my two cars the more I realise how high the GL sits on its multi leaf springs compared to the laser on singles, my god does the GL wallow and bound about in the corners compared to the laser just hugging the road

Would you mind doing that Danny?
I could PM you my email address and he can contact me directly to arrange payment.
Thanks!
I've just checked out my photo on the Photography-UK website, and this guy's photo is much better than the one on there.

Re: Brooklands 8.9.19
That is indeed a beautiful Capri.
I've just realised (I'm slow like that..) that I didn't take time to have a proper look at your gorgeous car at Brooklands. That's probably because I was caught up in the excitement of the day and didn't really see much of you there. Next time we meet up I would love to have a proper look around it. Hopefully at Haynes sometime next year....
Andrew.
