Ok guys 15 days to go!

Things have been a little hectic hence the reason why nothing has been posted on forums, where facebook is easier to access & post. But with just 2 weeks to go, we're getting ready big time!

So, as with some of the 50th anniversary events this year, Steve Saxty will be there to mooch around, have a chat with owners etc. I'm pretty sure at some point we'll get a public talk off him. We have Capris from across the land & the continent, with international crews from Belgium travelling far to get to the UK. Test Hill will be active, and sometime past lunchtime we will have the Banking photo. Unfortunately we have misinformed everyone, it cannot be a decision made by a raffle like we had planned, so each vehicle will be chosen at random by our Surrey Capri Club representatives who will pick 30 cars to go on the banking. And then mid afternoon, trophy giving, with thanks to Classic Ford Magazine for sponsoring these.

And we have some unique made merchandise, with hand drawn artwork created by ChrisCapri. Polos, Mugs, Tshirts, Coasters & Placemats are available.

Polos: Choice of White, Grey or Black. Sizes S-4XL. £20

Tshirts (not pictured). Choice of White, Grey or Black. Sizes S-4XL. £15

Mugs. £7

Image

Coasters. £4

Or buy Mug & Coaster Set £10

Image

Placemat (as bigger version of coaster above). £5

Stickers (inside window). £3.50 each

If you wish to buy in advance please message me. We have a bank account you can make a bank transfer to. With our merchandise, some stock may be available on the day, however if you want something the order will not come until after the event, especially with clothing.

But, as with event, it's YOU who make the event as big as what it is, so get yourself organised, and if you're going to Dunton the weekend before, fantastic. Daren has worked hard to put his event on so it's worth going to.

There's definitely a good way of celebrating a car's anniversary, and this is the way to do it. The team at Surrey Capri Club will make you feel welcome & we want everyone to have a fantastic time on the day.

Get ready to celebrate!

There's a BP where I met up with Nick, Calvin, Sheff and Brooky last time just past Hindhead - GU26 6TJ
If anyone still fancies that?

Haha 20 might be pushing it - There looks like there is parking for around 12-15 if there are no other cars in their car park...
Depends how many people will actually be planning to come I guess??

That BP is only a 30minute drive to Brooklands, and is right next to the tunnel so don't have to go too far the wrong way to go through it is all

Sounds good, just round the corner - will make sure I've been through Hindhead when I meet you there :)

Is the plan a Laser forum convoy then? If nobody minds I'll try the extra 3 miles to join you, it will mean going past Brooklands of course..

Hoping we might be able to do a joint picture of all of us for the site just to celebrate 50 years of the Capri and I will try a few classic car magazines you never know we might get us all in one .

For those who have or haven't been to Brookland, I asked Kris on FB which entrance to use. Members Hill (JTI) is the one of you are arriving in Capri, not the normal entrance behind Mercedes Benz World.
