Bit embarrassing this, I was sorting through my `special tools` toolbox (the one for vehicle specific, home made, adaptors etc) and I found this:

I honestly have no idea what it does. I vaguely remember buying it, within the last couple of years but beyond that? Any ideas?

It's for taking bike chains apart, the windey handle pushes the pin out of a chain to take it apart to lengthen or shorten the chain

That did occur to me actually, certainly looks the part!
It`s weird, my only reasoning is that I bought it ready for a possible job which I haven`t yet tackled. Hopefully if i`d actually used it I would then remember what it did! Hopefully.

Ive got one of those as well, haven't used it in quite some time as my chains are still going strong.
