Steve Saxty's Capri 50 Book is here !!!

Post by Fordoholic Nick »

Yep look what DHL delivered today :)

Just a very quick flick and wow it looks a stunning book and exactly the same feel and quality as The cars you always promised yourself ! Some great illustrations and looks packed full of amazing info. The cover artwork looks superb and the time line poster is brilliant.

Really looking forward to reading it.

I got the collectors edition of the first book & was hoping to get a copy of the Capri 50 collectors edition at Warley but they were only being sold as a bundle, have looked online at Porters Press but again only available as a bundle.

Anyone know how I get a copy of the Capri 50 collectors edition on its own ?

Ah, good to see they are making it through. I had a 3690 mile flight and five hour drive to get the first copies to Warley. There’s more in stock and I’ll have them at Silverstone this weekend.

What do you think? Does it do the job of sister book to The Cars You Always.... - it’s great to see people buying them together as intended.

Message me and I’ll sort it out. Didn’t you get the order link from Porter Press to buy?, that’s odd.

Is the Capri 50 Collector's edition available to buy in it's own right? The publisher's site doesn't seem to list it, or rather, I cannot find it. Just wondering how much it is as I'm struggling to find that info also.

Yup it's available in limited numbers from the Capri Owners Club direct but as I always stress there is three times as much Capri material in The Cars You Always Promised Yourself which is why it's available as a best-value bundle (saving fifteen quid) and that's how most people are buying them. I'll also have a few individual copies at the Silverstone Classic, Dunton and Brooklands.
