Weber 32/36 jets 1.6

Post by jrooney1991 »

Evening all,

Anyone know the jet sizes for a 32/36 Weber on a 1.6? Got a funny feeling mine is jetted for a 2 litre.

Have a quick look at my Capri's ongoing restoration! You might teach me something!

These are the original Ford jettings for 1600GT and 2.0 (not the `sonic idle` one which you won`t have) Courtesy of Haynes:

Mine was bought, for a 1.6, from a Weber specialist in`84 and that came with 140 mains and 60 prim idle / 50 sec idle, otherwise as above, but it works fine, runs well and never has a problem with emissions. So there does seem to be a bit of leeway?

You can bolt a 2.0 Weber onto a 1.6 and it will run absolutely fine. It's been done many times. Especially if you use a 2ltr cam.
