Whitstable Classic Car show
Hi all,
Date : Sunday July 14th Location : Tankerton Slopes , Whitstable
So never been to this one before but after Steve ( stish 704) mentioned last year its a very good show I thought I would give it a blast this year. Its a lovely location too I hear, overlooking the sea. Its organised by the same crowd as the Deal Show we went to recently so should be a cracking day out with a great blend of cars and music. Jason and Tom are joining me and maybe John if he sets his alarm clock for the early start !!!
If anyone else is thinking of popping along to this show then please come over and say hello to us. We will be parked up in area G51, weather permitting of course, but fingers crossed its a perfect day and no other hiccups to stop me going. I get back from a week in Cornwall next Sat the day before and got things to do on Monday so this one is being squeezed in so hopefully all should be good to go next Sun
All the best
Nick

Re: Whitstable Classic Car show
So young Mr Pinto Nick should be making his way back from small bay nudist beach in Cornwall to the sight and sounds of The Old Smoke .
Weather looks good for Sunday and my old lady is on the drive for the night so she can look up at the stars & the car
Will be waiting for the 3 musketeers Nick,Tom & John in the morning to then go and pick up the old boy in his speedos for a fun packed day at the seaside .
News in they do a Stick of rock with PINTO in it
We will be letting Laser the dog off again to protect our capris from any other doggies or drunk men like we had a deal
Also as normal I will lose my dad and we may send laser of to find him .
Possible you tube film with spot the tea towel who ever spots the tea towel wins 1st prize .
Watch this space .

Re: Whitstable Classic Car show
What are you like Jason
Yep back from Cornwall 2hrs now and missing the pesky seagulls already I will miss the nudist beach too but I hear the Whitstable Beach tomorrow is now nudist too mate. Did I not tell you. Your auld fella can leave his speedos behind
Yep weather looks good so all systems go. I cleaned up B112 after I got home from Deal end May and it's been under a cover on and off since as been so busy with other things so it will have to do as it is. Too bleedin tired to detail it tonight Jason it might only be two musketeers if John can't set his alarm clock for the very early start !!!!
I will bring some pork chops for Laser the dog too. Its great how he ONLY protects Pinto Capris
So anyway Jason we will be round yours for 7am fella. If Marie asks I prefer my eggs sunny side up and no mushrooms but an extra sausage instead please
Cheers fella. Until tomorrow...
PS If anyone else from here is popping along tomorrow please come over and say hello. We are at G51

Re: Whitstable Classic Car show
See you at 7am chaps also they have put us in Area 51 because the green men from Mars used the Pinto Engines in there ships .
( This is in Steve’s new book about how the ford pinto engine was used in the first moon landings as when the little green men crashed in Roswell 1947 they were using the not so good V6 engines so they all went over to the Pinto . )
We are also pleased to announce that Tom will be the official photograph as he once read a small article on the life and times of David Bailey in trap 3 only last week at work .
Yes weather has been good all week here Andrew hope it’s here to stay

Re: Whitstable Classic Car show
So had a great day and yes at long last after many years my old girl drove in the rain , once we was there the sun started to shine . There was Mr Nick , John & Tom with the old boy who comes along with me .
We all stated the day with a breakfast in the little cafe I go in .
John and myself did some falling out our chairs just to show how you can recover from a fall in the little camp chairs .
As always we had a great day and a good laugh .
Tom who was in charge of photography had a little accident with his state of the art phone . I managed to do a Video with out recording anything . So only a few pictures .
We did meet up with Andrew who has the stunning 2.0S forum name Arnold.
Thanks for a great day lads and look forward to meeting up at the Ace

Thanks for uploading the photos.
It looks like you had a great day and what a terrific line-up of gorgeous forum cars!
I hope that Andrew is taking his S to Brooklands as I would like to see it in person. It always looks so good in the photos.

The wiper motor needs a little more use I think as it was making a strange noise like wish / wash sound thank god Tom had a Capri manual as we would have never found the stickAndrew 2.8i wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2019 8:03 pmI bet you and Nick had to be shown how to turn on the wipers!
