I'm just wondering, if you end up with a list of people that largely says they will only go if it is dry is that going to be any help to anyone?

Hi Peter,
Good point, sort of hoping like me that those relying on the weather will update close to the day so we get a definate number.
If members said yes then started dropping out a few days before due to rain forecast, we would end up at the same place.
:agree: It then makes a farce of a deadline.

Personally I don't mind travelling through rain, but if it's wet at the event itself for me that ruins the day and is no enjoyment.

Hi,
I'll definitely be going if it's dry.
I'll probably still be going if there is only light rain forecast.
I won't be going if there is heavy rain, snow or a plague of locusts....

Sorry to be difficult! :D

Andrew.

Can somebody just mention how many Laser Pagers are going? I can't add my name myself as I refuse to join FB. Thanks.

Yep just as Jason has said Kris posted up on Facebook today that he wants to be able to start planning where to put everyone in clubs/groups so he wants to know numbers by July 5th as he prob has so much go organise. This also insures when we arrive the marshals will point us to our dedicated parking area at Brooklands.

Yep don't worry Andrew. Numbers is all that Kris wants so as Jason has said if we all get out names down here before the deadline we can let Kris know the final number. No need for names/capri details mate.

We just need someone to remember to give Kris the final number by the 5th July. I will be frantically packing for our drive down to Cornwall on the 6th but I will keep an eye to make sure its done. Both Andy and Jason are active on fb too so between us all we should be OK

Those that are "if dry" will obviously be put down as attending due to the 5th July deadline so Kris has the numbers to work with. If there are no shows on the day this can't be planned for.

We need to keep this thread bumped up between now and 5th July .!!
