Hi,
I'm hoping you guys can help me out with an ongoing issue.
I recently serviced the car replacing plugs, leads, cap & rotor (rev limiter one) & since then she hasn't been happy, she struggles to start sometimes cuts out but does eventually restart but runs lumpy for around 2 minutes, then settles but at low speeds (20-40mph) she judders, it sort of feels like she's holding back, I've also heard form the exhaust a slight back fire but not all of the time so not sure if this is related.
I've checked all the parts that I've fitted, I've even put all of the old parts back on but the issues are still present.
Any help would be most grateful

Have you checked the plug colour after you've been for a bit of a run? sounds like it could be running a bit lean.
Did you adjust anything when you serviced the car?

I didn’t adjust or needed to adjust anything,
Just replaced all of the parts I mentioned

Have you checked the firing order maybe a couple of leads are round the wrong way.
1987 2.8 Turbo technics.

My laser has exhibited these symptoms when the mixture in the carb is too lean, I know you don't have a carb but nevertheless this would tally with what Peter has said about the car running lean.
Strange how it's happened after changing service parts though, 'messing' with one aspect can highlight a dormant issue elsewhere though, or just coincidental perhaps.

Hi i had a problem just like yourself. Have you checked the regulator its located behind the dash board. plus the capri club run quite a few areas to cover on 2.8 fuel injection promblems well worth a look. Hope this helps.

Check the carbon brush in the centre of the dizzy cap, it might have a broken spring or be stuck too far in. Is there a spring tab contact in the centre of the rotor arm that is flattened? Is the king-lead pushed fully home both ends - also each HT lead?
When warmed up they will run on a smaller spark but from cold or under load they need a good spark for a regular clean burn.
