I don't believe I'm giving too much away if I say that Henry and Sam found a vehicle, fixed it then drove it......
I quite enjoyed it, but there's nothing new or unique about the show. Basically it's the same programme as Shed and Buried, but with a different name. :) Sam does all the mechanical and bodywork repairs while Henry does nothing but polish some chrome parts.....
Having said all that, it's still worth watching.

Andrew..
Just saw the second half of this, and yes it seemed ok. I quite like the Rat look with this sort of Pick Up.

Don't think it needs a narrater, and using Jo Brand it really didn't seem right :?

:agree:
The trouble with that sort of narrator is that you just know that they are reading from a script and they haven't a clue what it all means.

The MG looked really good at the end of the resto.
It's almost as if the boys have stepped up a gear from the last series...

Hate it when people sit or lean on cars! For some reason mine always seemed to attract that at shows, was forever shouting at people to stop it, used to think it was because it's red.

:agree: Paul.
It's probably because your average person doesn't think or consider their actions.

Watching Bangers and Cash last night, they were at a car show (with 2 Capris there :D ) and they showed a dog cocking it's leg against a car.
Again lack of respect, even my Mrs said they have one dog and they can't keep an eye on it

Fellow club members and other classic car owners would do the same though. I have a lot of respect for other people's cars and would never even consider doing that.

Andrew.
That's the car Andrew, it looks great.
The other Capri was in the back ground when they were talking. A Mk3 with it's bonnet up.

I don't sit on my own car so certainly won't let anyone else. If someone wants to sit in it or look inside then no problem.
A little courtesy goes a long way, unfortunately that's something some people find so hard :?

Yes Jason, that brought back some bad memories from last year...The next moronic owner that allows it will be told!!!
It's not the dogs fault they don't know any better. That's why most events say dogs on short leads welcome, so owners can keep them under control.

I enjoyed last night's episode even though the featured car wasn't particularly interesting.
Didn't think much of the repaint though - they didn't even remove the graphics before painting over them...

I was intriged last night with the outcome of a Fast N' Loud build, only to find the second part is next Friday

Yes a nice early 2.8 4 speed, NOJ234X one of the Eastender Capris. Don't think it was for sale, they were just talking about old :ford:

I think this was recorded just over a year ago and prices then were higher than the S1 RS made, that was a bargain  It looked a real tidy example and I thought closer to £15k would have been right.

The S2 I thought made a little too much with all the mods and overall condition :?

Imo, this is by far the best car programme that has been on T/V for a while

Agree with your points about the Escorts too.
I seem to recall the Eastenders Capri was for sale through Mathewsons a year or so ago, that tallies with your thoughts on when the filming took place.
