Absolutely lovely day on Sunday, if a bit chilly at times, thank you Andy & Neil for being part of the display, we had 30 Capris, which I think was one of the biggest overall stands, certainly on the old school front! It was a bit crazy, and I never even left the main arena all day, I was talking to people, or people were coming up to me. I whizzed round the museum last thing but that was about it.

Lots more 50th anniversary shows to go this year, that was one of them. Daz's Dunton event looks to be a great smash with many Capris turning up, and then the following weekend after it's Brooklands, and it's taking so much work! All of our Surrey Capri Club members are involved behind the scenes in some way but so much more to do!

Onto the next show!

I didn't bother taking any photo's as most of the cars are the same every year.

But someone caught me leaving unfortunately he must be more of an Escort and Sierra fan as he didn't catch much of me, but you can hear me :)

And here are some official photo's https://www.flickr.com/photos/beaulieu_ ... 1702/page1

The Escort Cosworth at the end picked up an award for 2nd place car of the day. Those that were at the Haynes meet might recognize it as the chap was there. I spoke to him briefly and its running 750BHP, not too surprising the thing is like a rocket!
See you at 6.06 and sounding good :D

Glad you all had a good day

Sorry yeah forgot to mention I'm about 6 mins in.
Probably won't do this event next year it can get a bit repetitive. The weather was good and £10 entry fee, so worth going if you haven't been before.

All the best

Thanks for the link Neil, there are some great looking Capris there, and I see the Coyote Capri made an appearance. 8-)

It's a great day for £10 Neil, but there's only so many RS/ST's I can take in one place....The Old Fords are what I like to look at, but new Mustangs are nice too :)
