Post by Jasonmarie »

So was up early this morning and down I went to wake up the Capri , took the trickle charge off dusted the windows and check the air in the Tyres all ready to go .
Had a great day out sunny and windy i had lunch with my daughter at that little cafe in Whistable , then a run down to a famous point . Capri went like a dream and never missed a beat well happy .

Hi Jason,
Your Capri looks stunning, as always!
It sounds as though you had a great day, and it's good to hear that your car never missed a beat.
I imagine the café owners expect you on the first fine day in Spring. They probably had your table ready for you.... :D

So Had my service done at Tickover and yet another great job they have done . Had a new bumper overrider on the front also full water works clean and flushed with new water pump and thermostat housing as both were weeping also top hose .
Had my diff cover repainted and my fog lights re wired with the correct ford switch .
Also I had something fitted that I just could not do .see if you can spot in the pictures .
Big thanks to Nick for being on the phone when my Temperature gauge went up on my way home as it was just a air lock like he said and is fine now  .
So fingers crossed she is ready for the road

Yes well happy I did get them before xmas but could not get the clips of to remove my headrest so they did it today for me , yes must agree Andy as I have always been a fan of them also and I did have some young man laughing at me this morning when I said they let more light in the cabin as the other ones are very big .

Yep, handy that you live close to them. You have a cracking Capri Jason.
I might nip out an get my wheels balanced as I think my offside front is out. Haynes breaky meet on Sunday and would rather arrive not shaken about :drive:. Ideally, I could do with replacing the tyres as they're not the best quality and I know that can make a difference.
Fingers crossed for a break in the weather later today..... And Sunday of course.
