I wonder why that never caught on? Maybe because it looks crap or regulations? I mean that roof! Good idea with the coal system though :D

I found this photo on the internet of the same car.

The caption states:
"In February 1975, Mr Douglas Purser converted his 1600 Capri to run on coal – and periodically had to stop the car to shovel anthracite into the burner."

I see the Viva HB has got a "Whiplash" aerial. Anyone remember them?

I think its handbrake cable needs slight attention too!

It was over 5 years old by then, the brackets had probably rotted out :lol:
