When you have the advert on in the background without paying much attention, it sounds like the voiceover is saying "Ladyboy's garage"...….

Good news!
It would appear that our favourite hapless car restoration duo are set to return. Series 2 of "Flipping Bangers" has been filmed and "shouldn't be too long" before it hits our screens. At the moment there are no further details available, but check their Facebook page for the latest updates.

Did anyone else watch the 2 x 30 minute episodes last night?
This is definately a case where 30 minutes is no where near enough time for each car given the work involved

I did watch it, but didn’t know what to think, they seem too lazy to finish what they started :headscratch: All that work to make the escort solid, then they don’t fully respray it & add stupid painted stripes. It’s obviously just a program made for entertainment & not a business. Was hoping this was going to be good, not sure it’s worth sticking with it though.

I didn't see this Ladyboy's ( :) ) garage programme, but it sounds as though it's not worth watching.
I did question when I saw the trailer whether it would be a proper car show or simply for entertainment purposes.

I thought Lazy boys garage was a bit naff. Car SOS special was good, a bit Top Gear style and most of all the Capri gets credit.

Also look what is at Aution this February https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1002124 I thought the Doctor would have sold this easy . Yes it’s a marmite Capri but Andrew and my self have heard this twice now and OMG it’s amazing sound .
It was unsold yesterday, making around £28K! Definate Marmite car!
After days of cleaning prior to the auction, it sounds like he had to give the car a good clean of fingerprints  :poke:

I think he will have to keep this a while longer, or take a hit on the price.....

Watched a re-run of Bullitt on Friday night, channel ITV4. Still one of the best car chases in my opinion, perhaps just beaten by Ronin.

Strange so 28k is that with the buyers fee as well as that must take it over 30k I did talk to the doctor at the ace cafe and he has had to spend some to get the car to drive right .
Somebody will come along when this government have stopped sodding about and trump has built his wall . Yes black is a right finger print magnet and they all touch the bloody car .

Bullit great film and car chase that had no CGI

Couldn’t resist recording it, saw the actual film car at Goodwood last year. It’s still got loads of presence in its unrestored state. Looking forward to watching it this week.

In the write up it states -

It has a meticulous document history file when it was in it's pre modified state.

The car was faultless, fabulous bodywork

Knowing that, I find it very sad, when you look at what they have done to such a car then.
