Where are you based?
There's also Southern Carburetters in Crawley, they are a Weber agent and will refurb most stuff. I had some Strombergs rebuilt by them and they were amazing.

Some great links there as I was reading that the new carbs that are made in Spain are causing problems so a rebuild is the better option .

Re: Webber Carb specialists
I bought a brand new one from a very reputable UK dealer when mine was undergoing its little cough, err polish up , cough , no slight on them intended.
It was brand new & regardless of which mixture or adjustment screw was wound all the way in or out, it made bugger all difference, seller was fine about it & I returned it for a full refund.
Put a few new bits on the original 1981 carb & it was fine so I would always recomend refurbing an existing original one where practicle
