Hi guys ,here’s a couple of pics of my 280 today just getting picked up and away to body shop ,then back for rebuild,hopefully get it back on road for most of the show season more pics when I get car back thanks,

Looks like your on the road to the rebuild what must be a relief.great pictures and looks like you have a lot of hours in to her .

Thanks,yes been off the road a year now but hope to be back on the road may /June ( I hope ) happy days

As said, it's great to see another 280 lovingly restored to it's former glory.
Hopefully you will get it all finished by any 50th anniversary events that you are planning to attend this year.

Well car back now (2years off the road ) body shop put decals on wrong place ,so new set ordered now for rebuild

As for the decals that was a big mistake, as there are plenty of 280s on the web to get reference from, but it's easily sorted :)

The costs of doing this work is high, surely the body shop could have done some research, or checked with the owner where the decals are positioned?

Otherwise it’s looking great

With Capri restorations, it's always one step forward & two steps backwards.
Hopefully you'll get it completed within your predicted time frame.

Yes a bit stupid to guess but as you said easy fix , now a few long nights in the garage (and some sweary words ) ,thanks guys .
