Out for a spin....ish !!!
So I took B112 out for a spin today but due to the filthy/salty roads I only got as far as outside my garage door ....

Nice one Andy Any pics They fit really well don't they mate. I drape mine over the passenger seat now when car parked up in garage. Just keeps the dash clear to breatheandyd wrote:I actually got around to putting the dash mat in mine this week

Sorry no pics but yes they fit just right Good idea keeping it over the seat, it's better than keeping it on the spare bed
Got the new fuel tank in the bedroom now awaiting the sender unit, so will hopefully have it all fitted by April Haynes Meet

Unless its a Laser with Weber 45's mate !!tazla wrote:I could do with a laser in my life.i think id drive it more as when i get my car out i drive from one petrol station to the next.
I think if I did go down the 45's road I would be looking for a petrol station as soon as I left one after filling up just like you !!!
Hmmm....you got me thinking now...
Mate tbh I don't really take much notice. I just drive and fill up when needed !! Hope this helps Think you should be looking at approx 28/33 general driving depending on how you drive it...35mpg or more can be achieved on longer runs at sensible speeds. Have seen some say they have got just shy of 40mpg driving at 55mph. Could also depend on how well maintained the engine is too ??tazla wrote: whats its like on fuel

Nice and shiny in there Nick. Are the tops on your washer and expansion bottles transparent or something?

If by the tops of the bottles you mean the caps then yes they are transparent..ish rather than black. If however you mean the actual top of the tanks they are just std mate, albeit cleaned up. The blue screenwash really shows through

Yep drive em sensibly and a Pinto will get you about very well mate. I tend to get up to about 70mph when I am convoying with John in his 2.8i so he dont fall asleep but between you and me when I am driving on my own I stick about 65mph and just sit back and enjoy the drive without stressing at the fuel needle

Re: Out for a spin....ish !!!
Mines only got 4 gears i had a 5 speed box and sold it.i thought id keep it standard.slipped up really. Never mind.i know whay you mean about keeping it below 70mph. It seems to make a massive difference in mine if i cruise at 60ish.

Thanks Nick, yes I meant the caps, at first I thought you didn't have any on Not seen any transparent ones before, thought they were all black.Fordoholic Nick wrote:Thanks Paulpbar wrote:Nice and shiny in there Nick. Are the tops on your washer and expansion bottles transparent or something?

It's great when the bottles are clean isn't it, and you can actually see the colour of the fluids.
