I really enjoyed that , Marie said I was like James May as I do use a fibre glass pencil as well , also I never new about the wheels . Thank god I never took my train apart as I would have been years trying to fix it .

Series 6 of Car SOS will be broadcast on the Quest channel, starting on Monday 7th January at 9PM. This is the series first broadcast earlier in the year on the National Geographic channel.
The last episode is the one with the blue RS3100 replica.

No problem.

According to Wiki, the Capri episode is the 10th, so should be broadcast on 11th March by my calculation.

Spoiler alert/ forewarning. The second episode is apparently an extremely emotional affair as, tragically, the person concerned passes away before the car is completed. :(

Yes I always well up at the end and that one is a real heart sting puller . The RS3100 is great and we had the pleasure ( Andrew ,John and myself ) to see it in the flesh at the CCI meet . Andrew did take some stunning shots of the car . Think car SOS is my favourite show .

Yep saw the trailer today and saw the seats and dials. Wonder whether they will do a decent job of it, yet to see one on a car show yet that looks good.

It looks as though we are in for a great New Year of car programmes on TV, as I've just seen a trailer for a series of Wheeler Dealers that starts on Discovery on Monday January 7th.

By the way, there's a new series of the world's worst car programme - Yianni Supercar Customiser, starting on Dave in the new year. Who cares though as it's crap...….

I managed to catch the trailer for the first time today. Maybe it was a slightly different version, as I saw the dials and seats, but also there are a few glimpses of a black 2.0 S, KFM1Y. The car looks half decent from what I can gather in the fraction of a second that it's on screen!

Caught a glimpse and from what I saw, he wanted to get the interior right....did he ditch the correct strobe interior for the S,and fit the red Ghia interior, or vice versa?

I’ll still watch it even if past episodes weren’t that great!

Does anyone know if Fantomworks or Overhaulin ever worked on a Mercury Capri?

There's a couple of older photos of this car on Flickr, showing it with a bright red Ghia interior and a mark 2 front grille. The Capri didn't look like that in the trailer so my guess is that they ditched the mods and reverted the car to standard spec, including the strobe seats shown.

It's not a new series, but I've just stumbled upon another car programme on an obscure satellite channel. It's called "Classic Restos" and, surprisingly (!), it's about old cars. It's on CLTV, channel 161 on Freesat. I'm not sure if it's on Freeview, but I'm sure somebody will be able to tell us.

It's on Sky Ch 192. Used to be called Showcase.

Have seen a few episodes in the past....

They had a bit of a marathon on CLTV. It's OK to watch if there is nothing else on, but I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it. Anybody with a particular interest in the Aussie car scene will love the show!
