Jason it looked like the poor chap on the forklift barely nudged the racking. To me it collasped far too easily. As you said how did it happen and so easily. Surely there must be some sort of of safety level these high rise racking shelves should have to meet ??? I feel really sorry for the driver. Christ I will be extra careful next time I am wheeling a trolley around Ikea !!!!

I bet the company tries to blame the driver rather tban explain how the fuck it all collasped like a deck of cards.

My first thought was no way was that racking safe :shock:

A comment from the video;
"This incident happened just up the road from me. The film you just watched is used now in accident reporting. Long and short is the racking had been hit numourous times and had been unreported. Hence the touch and collapse. Oh and the flt driver survived"

I thought it was one of these spoof videos that didn't really happen. Then I saw Andy's post.

Wow! so it did really happen then ?

The reason I say a spoof is because this one is another - more shocking / less shocking - I'll let you decide. But it was being played through early 2018 and I couldn't workout, with a bit of photoshopping, if you could impose an image of something else over the top to make it seem real.

Nevertheless, that factory incident seems very bad!
