Ermmmm, no I will try and be good this time , Marie has worried me this weekend as she said she wants to do a hand brake turn in the Capri , smoke some weed and bang a drum like a shaman ? Because she will be 50 in January ?

Ok with two but driving my Capri again is something I have got to get out of head .

You've got to draw the line somewhere. I can see how Marie would want to tick some things off her bucket list, but asking to drive the Capri is just crazy....

When she first took it out we ended up in the drive way across the road then going up the A2 we was doing 80mph and she went for 5th OMG I had skid marks where skid marks can’t be .....

How many of us have let our better half’s drive ?

There’s another classic :ford: on next weeks second episode. Unusually there are 2 buyers & the smiles per mile are obvious. Elo is still full of :turd: but he found a stunning hot hatch. Worth a look for this car only 8-)
Nice :ford:
What use was the car the 'odd couple' chose...I thought they had dogs, so a hatch or estate would be their best option :?

I wish Elo would shut up for a minute on the test drive

So for Marie to do her hand brake turn I will find a field for her then the Capri should be safe , she used to work for brands hatch in the 90s and some time brought cars home and did leave a top of the range BMW in a field and a tractor had to rescue her

Part 2 of this episode featuring the Cortina sale, this Friday at 9pm and repeated Saturday at 5 pm.

Last 2 episodes of MWCS next week :woot:

A good idea on paper but it doesn't really work for me as it is, especially as the presenters are car fans :?
Or is it the buyers that I can't get to grips with :headscratch:

If the episodes were an hour long with a better look over the cars maybe I could get to like it...

:agree: I think most people on here don't seem to have clicked with the show. Maybe it's because each car isn't given enough time to be described in detail. Maybe the problem are the presenters who are tolerable but a bit bland. They don't seem to have any character. Maybe it's because the buyers don't seem to genuinely be in a position where they can't decide between a classic or a modern car.
It's a shame really because, as you say, the show promised quite a lot on paper.

Isn't it great that some of the young ones are showing some interested in the Capri?
Without a certain level of interest from the next generation and beyond, the legend won't be kept alive for too much longer.

Totally agree, the more that like them the better.

I did laugh when I watched it lastnight as she sounded like my daughter might say in a few more years , she’s only 12 but going on 21 . She got a Ford Edge brochure in the post last week and gave it to me saying that Marie wanted one .
More like her ......

Or watching any more of her videos. :)
15,000 subscribers! She probably makes a fortune from the adverts in her videos too, so fair play to her.
