Hello, found myself in a bit of money trouble after some vet bills. Sometimes expenses just get on top of you. Sad to let it go, this Capri is a head turned in every sense.
2 litre Pinto engine (last yeary cylinder head re-skimmed)
32/36 DGAV weber carburettor
Brand new starter motor (high torque)
New spark plugs and HT leads
Fastroad cam kit
Converted to Unleaded
Sportex exhaust
5 speed gearbox done in 1993
new single-leaf springs suspension
Kenlowe cooling fan
Modern sound system
new front tyres
new cam belt and fan belt
coolant changed
well looked after and regular maintenance always done on time
TAX Exempt, cheap classic vehicle insurance.
Next MOT January 2019
The not so good bits:
Driver seat has fabric rips. Been putting it off due to wanting to find the same fabric.
Last owner said he repainted it 3 years ago, but has a few bubble paint spots but no rust under, seals or chassis.
Driver side lower front bumper has a crack. Somebody reversed into me?? No idea how I got it.
MOT advised to change front break pads, but then I went in to change them and the guy said they got many more miles to go. But can get it sorted if wanted.
Letter from Ford about original date been 1974.

Re: mk2 1974 Ghia for sale
This one was restored by Steve Moore (Elliecharlie) about 4 years ago. I saw it a couple of years ago and it is a lovely car except, as the advertiser says, for the cloth on the seats.

That car was at Simply Ford in 2016. It was owned by a chap called Luke back then.andyd wrote:Knew I'd seen it before...

Re: mk2 1974 Ghia for sale
Car was for sale on here 4 years ago. I liked it then, it’s had a lot of work done since then & I think the newer 4 spokes it now wears suit it better than the originals. Nice car, good luck with sale
