That's probably what I'll do too. It's a shame as I really thought this show had the potential to be good, but it fails to deliver because of the ridiculous selection of cars.

Sorry to say but i now agree with you both , I never have thought why he picked a Capri as a camper . You can see now why I was waiting on you both to watch it because I don’t think you could make it up if you tried .
Will I carry on watching yes but it will be more on in the back ground as I can read at the same time .

Talking of reading I noticed a new Capri book on Amazon ?

I read in the club magazine, I think, that it was being written so I've been waiting for it to be published.
The factory original mark 1 book seems to have been well received. I'm sure the mark 3 book will prove to be an invaluable reference book.
By the way, I just bought the mk1 book too...... :D

Yes I just saw that and perhaps that’s where I heard the name in the Capri magazine . 3 capris books to read OMG and before Xmas what will Mrs 2.8i buy you this year ?

Yes I was tempted myself as I was doing my Amazon Wish list for Marie . My push my luck and add that as well .
Looks like my ultrasonic washing machine for car parts and clock parts is out the window again , also I was looking at the cars stereo like Johns .
And she said today that she wants to look at the new transit minibus , might send her on a tv programme we know as they might show her a 3 wheeled Morgan .

Oh, why is that? I was looking forward to reading a product review of one.
I'm tempted to buy one myself, but I'm still thinking about whether I will get enough use out of it to justify the cost.

Yes I am the same , as I can do large clocks in there and car parts , but it’s down to the size . So I would need the large 9L tank

This is the one I would go for .
https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/263566421098?c ... 46ffff29f1

It’s a lot of money for something that I wonder if I would use , as I read with circ 1900 to now clocks I should be safe to use but older clocks had brass welding or even a horse glue on Jewels which would damage the parts . As I would use it in brass carriage clocks also cogs which would need re plating or using lacquer, after the cleaning process. Where now I clean by hand like they did years ago and it works well .

But as you say the jet washers would have really come up really well and cleaned the inside . Marie always says I will get you that for xmas but I always end up asking for something else . I might keep a eye for a second hand one on eBay . I need to move near you as I could hide it at your house then and would be available for you when needed .

You could buy it yourself, if Marie asks about it you could pretend that you are hiding it in your garage for somebody else.....
Would she see through that? :)

PM sent, by the way...

He said it was the first time he had bikes hanging off the back and he was shitting himself the whole journey, and the looks he must have got turning up in a Capri like this was a "Carry On" moment

The Mk1 book arrived today...

It's 127 pages full of beautiful photography, although that's not difficult when you're photographing a Capri :) , and lots of useful reference material. It has certainly whetted my appetite for the Factory Original Mk3 book.
I bought mine on Amazon from Speedyhen, a seller I've bought from before and is reliable, for only £22.79 including delivery.

One to put on your Christmas wish lists!

Back by popular demand! :)

If the mark 3 book is as good as the one on the mark 1, it will be a must-have.
