Eyup hope alls well ive decided to ha have a little engine bay spruce up as a few things ,paint etc have gone off a bit.so stripped off what needs doing Image Image rubbing down filling priming painting has started .ive nearly finished now so i can start shoving it all back on.im gonna redo the underside over the winter Image Image Image shes stood well to be truthful .the engine bay itselfs manky but will soon clean up

Its garaged andy.but its been outside for 8 months .under a large sort of open shed not good for it.i first put a fleece lined waterproof car cover over it but when i took it off the car was condensating.so i left it off.then i rented a garage but that wasnt the best.ive just moved to a brand spanking house and the garage is dry so now i can crack on minting her back up.
Here she is plenty of room Image

All the parts are finished now just need to mask the full engine bay as i want to repaint the strut tops :? Image .wish i could have the parts powdercoated but they need that much filling that the bits of dints etc will show up so il have to paint them ,freshen em up now and then.something to do

She’s looking good as always and love your rocker cover job . What a great big garage as well is that a Cornish garage as they all had a tractor in the day :lol:

Haha i fancy restoring a little tractor .i have a mate whos restored one and drives it about clitheroe lancashire

That’s funny as my wife’s cousin did a 1969 David Brown one and it looks amazing he’s down in Redruth and took it to a show . They go for a lot of money once done .

Cheers chaps.nearly done just need to put the fan on and get a new fan belt ImageImage Image needs a right good cleaning on the outside and then a few bits to do on the interior and that will do until winter :roll:

There's only a delete option for the last post in the thread, so you could have deleted the duplicate and kept the first post of the two.

Back to Mel's car.
It looks as stunning as always, I love looking through the photos because Mel's car is pretty much the perfect Capri.
