Hi Nick,
Nice find!
It's a pity about that stone chip, although it's great to see that NOS parts are still coming onto the market. Personally, I'd make do with a new repro bumper at only £64.

Don’t mention the mats as I mention them in another post but I think I got away with it .

Funny as I have been finding bits and I also have a rear ford bumper from fords in the ford wrapper . I think we all have spare parts that we have saved over the years .

OK Basil! This is the same set of NOS mats. Fair play to the seller, I wish I'd had the foresight to buy them for £212 only 8 months ago. What a fabulous investment they turned out to be!

As rare as they are, I just can't get my head around that sort of item being worth much more than the purchase price :headscratch:

But :goodluck: to the seller!!

I think I payed around £60 for mine in the early 90s as I had a mark on my one on the car but just put up with the mark and never fitted it .

I love the description where he’s put “ I think they are rare...” etc.

You think or you know??

I threw a brand new entire set of these out once. They mark your carpet something rotten!
Still, whoever buys them will be the mug here. Good luck to the seller.

I always think it's really cool to still have these NOS parts with the original packaging, more so because the packaging looks cool! Unfortunately I can never justify the price of buying them :(

Same here....
I think a Capri would have to be absolutely mint to justify the cost.
As I said in my first post, it's amazing that there are still NOS parts coming up for sale so long after they would have been available to buy from a main dealer.

It’s funny what parts we have kept as I just sold a original parcel shelf on e bay as I could not understand why I was keeping it . I also have found a steering wheel a motocraft alternator , black headlight and grill ( that’s not new ) a dash and speedo also the wood affect dash . Also the air box of my old Capri ( god knows what I put on ) a sunroof Handel as I was always breaking them . Also a dimdip and radiator cover .
And I still have bits and bobs at my mums and dads house .

So why do we keep this stuff .............just in case .

I bought a set of NOS Escort RS wheel centre caps this week still in the unopened bag, it felt strange to cut the bag open and fit them after all this time, but I will get more enjoyment seeing them on the car than tucking away in a cupboard for 5 years :D (I kept the bag)

See if it was my mother in law I would keep her sealed in the bag as I would get more pleasure from seeing her in a sealed bag .

I did get a call on Saturday saying she was in casualty, so I turned over to BBC1 and watched the whole programme and I never saw her .....

Back to parts Andy yes there’s something good about putting new parts on your car as you know they are there and I bet you smile when you look at them .

 Can't beat a good Mother in Law gag :)

:agree: NOS is nice, but often too expensive to make a habit of  But if that's all that is available when you want it.... :headscratch:
