I did 3 coats on mine. 5 months later, water is still beading nicely on them.Jasonmarie wrote: how many coats did you use on your wheels ?

Incredible, fined more than using a mobile phone at the wheel All wrongGaz-LS wrote: the number plates do suit the car I have some for my Capri but probably only use for the shows as if you get pulled over by the police it's a £1000 fine, but would the police know any different?

Basically yes..... Be good DadJasonmarie wrote:So if I read right it’s going to be in with the 40 year rolling year thing . I will have to be a good boy and not speed .
A good thing to do. Simply explain to the nice officer that you have only just put the black plates on. If you swap them over at the roadside, the Police are extremely unlikely to issue a ticket. I haven't looked into it, but the £1000 fine is likely to be the maximum and I doubt that anybody has ever been fined that much for the offence. Although the law is the law, so beware of that too....Jasonmarie wrote:I did wonder if it was wrong as I have kept my old plates in the boot

I was taking the wheels of anyway as I'm starting the annual clean of the underside while the weather is still half decent.
