Where's the best place for u bolts ? I'm fitting new leaf springs single leaf . I have bought some off eBay but don't look to strong

You have to be careful when buying new car parts on ebay, a lot of cheap items are incredibly poor quality.

I would try CapriGear (you can PM him on here or phone 01507 343148), or try the Capri Club or Tickover, both have online shops.

Make sure you get the shorter U bolts for singles, rather than the long ones which, depending on brand, might not have enough thread length to tighten up. While under there consider fitting an axle location kit. Either A-Frame of X-Frame (whichever you can find.) This will transform the handling making it much cleaner and safer round faster corners or on wet/frosty roads.
Worth wire-brushing & spraying WD40 on the rear shackle nuts a few times in the days before removing as they are very small diameter metal. Sticky threads mean they usually shear off leaving your car off the road.
